KUALA LUMPUR: Federal and state authorities now have the technology at their fingertips to better protect, monitor and manage the country’s natural resources, including forest reserves and water catchment areas.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said remote sensing technology at the Malaysian Centre for Remote Sensing (Macres) should be used by the relevant agencies in their work.
