SITIAWAN: As much as 800ha of mangrove forest in the district of Manjung have been cleared for prawn-breeding projects, said Pangkor assemblyman Datuk Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
He said the state government had been promoting the prawn-breeding industry as it was a major revenue earner for Perak.
