KUALA LUMPUR: MCA election candidates will have to draw lots to determine the sequence of their names in the ballot papers for a more democratic and transparent process.
President Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said this would apply for nominations fo rthe Wanita, Youth and MCA elections which would be conducted simultaneously at Wisma MCA between 1pm and 5pm on Aug 15. The draw for the name sequence will start 30 minutes after the close of nominations.
