THE Dec 26 tsunami has led archaeologists to the discovery of centuries-old artefacts buried at a popular tourist spot in Mamallapuram near Chennai in South India, reported Malaysia Nanban.
When Mamallapuram was hit by the waves, the water washed away the sands at the shores, revealing sculptures buried centuries ago, including a temple of Lord Murugan.
