KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has banned imports of fowls from the Philippines following an outbreak of bird flu in the republics central province of Bulacan five days ago.
State Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Rahim Ismail said the state had also cancelled all permits for the import of poultry from the Philippines.
