PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik has asked his Cabinet colleague Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim to officially forward to him complaints regarding the lack of censorship in programmes aired over Astro.

Dr Lim, the Energy, Water and Communications Minister, also requested that the Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister identify the programmes, which supposedly contained certain steamy scenes.

"There is no complaint (from him) yet. Complain to me or the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

"When you say Astro programmes, which were the programmes you were referring to? I don’t think it's the cartoon programmes or ESPN.

"If you talk about movies, which movies? Were they it aired over HBO or Hallmark and when were these programmes shown?" he said Friday after meeting Lord Mayor of London Alderman Michael Savory.
