Cops get jail for taking diesel bribes

KOTA BARU: A Sessions Court here jailed and fined two policemen for accepting a RM200 bribe in Tumpat three years ago to ignore a diesel smuggling attempt. 

Judge Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh sentenced L/Kpl Saifuddin Abdullah, 35, to six months' jail and fined him the maximum of RM10,000 or in default six months' jail; and L/Kpl Fakri Mat Adam, 41, to 14 days' jail and also a fine of RM10,000 or in default six months’ jail.
