PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal ruled that there was no misdirection by the High Court judge when he accepted the evidence of a chief prosecution witness who saw businessman Alex Wong Teck Choy fire a shot at a car repossessor.

Justice Datuk Gopal Sri Ram, in his judgment released to the media yesterday, found that the High Court judge had undertaken sufficient judicial appreciation of the evidence given by Tan Lee Kian although she was an interested witness, being a sister-in-law of the deceased.
