PETALING JAYA: Singer Datuk Sharifah Aini Syed Jaafar has filed an appeal against the magistrate's court's rejection of her application to throw out a defamation charge against her.
Lawyer Badrul Munir Bukhari, representing Sharifah Aini, said the appeal was filed at the magistrate's court here, which would forward the notice to the Shah Alam High Court.
