PETALING JAYA: An independent tribunal is being proposed by the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) to receive and investigate complaints made against the police force for human rights violations.
In its Annual Report 2004, Suhakam is also proposing that the tribunal be permitted to make recommendations on complaints of misconduct and neglect of duty by the police or on any practice or procedure of the police.
