Two Indon seamen rescued in Jolo raid

KOTA KINABALU: Two of three Indonesian crewmen abducted from a Sabah registered tugboat have been rescued after 74 days in captivity when Philippines military launched a predawn assault on a militant stronghold in Jolo. 

The rescued seamen – Erikson Hutagol, 23, and Yamin Labuso, 26, – have been flown to a hospital in Zamboanga City for observation while an operation is on for the third hostage of the Sandakan-based Bonggaya 91 tugboat skipper Resmiadi, 31.
