Tenaga families let their hair down

“This was a good and healthy pastime during my younger days,” said Che Khalib. 

Tarik Upih was among the 30 other fun and games events at the family day attended by 4,000 Tenaga employees and their families at its sports complex in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. 

“We have a family day in every state and this is to enhance better working relations between the staff of the various sections. 

“Family is an important part of life and today is a day for the staff to relax and enjoy,” Moggie said in his speech to staff and families. 

Later, Che Khalib said the Tuanku Jaafar Power Station’s 720-megawatt powered first block would be commissioned on June 24. 

He added that the energy generated from thie block would strengthen the southern grid and increase supply to the states.
