POLITICAL differences in Sri Lanka are hampering the countrys effort to send relief aid to the tsunami-stricken states in the north and east that are under the control of the Liberation Tamil Tigers of Elam (LTTE), according to Tamil Nesan.
Describing the situation as sad in its editorial yesterday, the paper said many foreign countries had sent relief aid in cash and kind to help the victims of the Dec 26 tragedy.
