KUCHING: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has launched an operation throughout Sarawak to reduce road accidents during the coming Gawai Dayak festival.
State JPJ director Abdul Hamid Akop said the operation, to run until June 6, was targeted at motorists who committed offences such as crossing double lines, not using signal lights and driving vehicles with worn-out tyres.
