KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian automobile vendors must expand overseas in order to remain competitive with the Asean Free Trade Agreement (Afta) coming into effect.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said local vendors could no longer rely on domestic markets alone as Afta would allow foreign companies to enter the Malaysian market.
