REPORT ON THE POLICE: (May 16) The over 500-page Royal Commission Report on the Police force released on Monday recommended 10 strategic thrusts, including reduction of crime, eradication of corruption, and compliance with human rights and prescribed laws, to enable the Malaysian police force to become a world-class, 21st century organisation.  

SUSPICIOUS WEALTH: (May 18) The Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has been asked to investigate a Royal Commission report that a retired senior police officer had declared assets totalling RM34mil while in the force.
