PENANG: The air was pleasant with the smell of freshly-cut flowers as floral societies lent a hand in decorating Wesak Day floats here.
Pom-pom chrysanthemums, orchids, birds of paradise and anthuriums were the flowers of choice for those hard at work at the Malaysian Buddhist Society (MBA) and the Penang Buddhist Society headquarters yesterday.
