KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s taxi and bus operators are asking to be allowed to increase their fares in the wake of the recent petrol and diesel price rise.
“We have to consider the application of the public transport companies as they have to bear the cost of the fuel increase – which has happened three times in a span of one month,” said the state’s Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board chairman Datuk Bung Moktar Radin.
