KUALA LUMPUR: A Cameroon national, who duped a businessman into handing over RM55,000 to him for a bag of jewellery and foreign currencies, was jailed three years and ordered to be whipped five times.
Eloundou Georges Romuald, 30, who was in the electronics and spare parts business in his country, was ordered to serve the jail term from the date of his arrest on Nov 29, 2003.
