CANDICE Sai Chin Mei’s first job interview lasted a gruelling two hours. “I was so exhausted from answering questions and solving case study problems that I slept for two hours when I got home,” she remembers. Like her peers, the 24-year-old graduate is in the midst of finding a job.

Candice’s love for Science led her to the chemistry laboratories of Universiti Malaya after her secondary education and she received her honours degree in Applied Chemistry last November. She sees the sometimes tedious process of job hunting in a positive light.
