THE MIC Youth has called for an independent inquiry into the death of R. Jeeva who was found dead in a lock-up in the Kulai Magistrate's Court on April 11, Tamil Nesan reported.
The wing's legal adviser R.T. Rajasegaran said there had been several cases of deaths involving Indians in lock-ups over the past two years.
