KUALA LUMPUR: Lawyer and politician Karpal Singh has obtained leave from the High Court to seek an order to quash a decision by the Advocates and Solicitors disciplinary board to investigate him for alleged misconduct against a High Court judge three years ago.

The leave granted by Justice Mohamed Raus Sharif yesterday allowed Karpal Singh to file for a judicial review within 14 days, to set aside or quash the board’s decision on Feb 18 to set up a tribunal to inquire into the complaint against the veteran lawyer.
