KUALA LUMPUR: The Indonesian military intelligence will question the republic’s newspaper Kompas over a false report it had carried involving Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, said the Defence Ministry’s Director of Intelligence Lt-Jen Datuk Wan Abu Bakar Omar.
He said he had called his counterpart in Jakarta on Monday and was told that he would find out how Kompas had reported that Najib had apologised to the Indonesian defence attaché in Malaysia, Kol Hartind Asrin, over a naval accident in an area of the Sulawesi Sea claimed by both Malaysia and Indonesia.
