PETALING JAYA: Designer drug abuse among the youth is increasing at such an alarming rate that a nationwide campaign has been kicked off to tackle the problem.
The Malaysian Drug Prevention Association (Pemadam) deputy president Datuk Idris Ismail said that even as police statistics showed a decline in the use of hardcore drugs such as heroin and cannabis, amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) had become rampant.
