KUCHING: The floods in Sibu Division in central Sarawak has worsened and affected more low-lying areas, forcing more schools to close or to end classes early.
Division education officer Peter Wong Ku Ung said the number of schools affected had increased to 24 yesterday, from 17 on Wednesday.
