MANILA: No-frills airline AirAsia has spread its wings to the Philippines with daily flights to Clark, a former US air base, from Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.
Its inaugural flight carrying 123 passengers left Kuala Lumpur at 6.50am yesterday and landed at the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport here four hours later yesterday, making it the first low-fare airline to land there.
