KUALA LUMPUR: Film-maker Yasmin Ahmad has brushed aside criticism of her movie Sepet voiced in the Dewan Rakyat, arguing that it reflected both the national identity and the fundamentals of film-making.
In fact, she said, the most salient element of her award-winning movie was that it truly mirrored the Malaysian identity.
