PUTRAJAYA: The United Nations will take note of calls by parliamentarians in Malaysia and other Asean countries to stop Myanmar from taking over the chair of the 10-nation regional grouping next year.
However, the UN special envoy to Myanmar, Tan Sri Razali Ismail, would not say if the world body supported the call by the MPs.
