SHAH ALAM: An international hockey umpire has withdrawn a defamation suit against five people over a story that appeared in The Star four years ago.
Counsel Rohan Gnanasegaran told High Court judge Datuk Suriyadi Halim Omar that his client Balbeer Singh Swaran Singh had instructed him to withdraw the suit with no costs.
