KOTA KINABALU: A gusty 20-year-old University Malaysia Sabah student fought off a masked armed robber who tried to rape her at the university’s outside campus hostel at the Taman Indah Permai housing estate in Likas.
First year forestry student Grace Nelson injured her palms while warding off the machete strikes by the robber who managed to escape with her necklace, wallet containing her identity card, ATM card and RM34 in cash.
