SHAH ALAM: The decision by Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo to reject an appeal by the Selangor Public Accounts Committee (PAC) for the state government to foot the RM89,000 bill for an aborted trip to Egypt has drawn mixed responses.
Subang Jaya assemblyman Datuk Lee Hwa Beng said he had “no problems” paying the RM8,900 to the tour agency while Ng Suee Lim (DAP – Sekinchan) protested, saying it was unfair to compel him to pay.
