KUALA LUMPUR: The wife of a police assistant superintendent was jailed two years and ordered to be placed under police supervision for a year after she pleaded guilty to two charges of cheating two men in bogus business deals.
Sentenced in separate magistrate’s courts yesterday, Zarina Wati Kang Abdullah, 41, who had initially claimed trial to both charges changed her plea yesterday when trial proceedings were to have started.
