PETALING JAYA: WWF-Malaysia has called on the Government to make it mandatory for all projects covering 20ha or more to submit a detailed environmental impact assessment (EIA) report.
Unlike a preliminary EIA, a detailed one would provide for a public review process and assessment by an independent review panel, said its scientific officer, S. Saradambal.
