IPOH: Perak DAP hopes the police will not stop them from staging two events here and in Sitiawan this weekend in conjunction with the party’s nationwide campaign to restore local government elections.
DAP Socialist Youth chairman Nga Kor Ming said the party had applied for a police permit to launch the campaign at Kampung Simee here on Saturday and at the Sitiawan market on Sunday.
