PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has expressed bewilderment over the case of a Myanmar national who had apparently remained in Malaysia despite serving time twice for unlawful entry.
The three-man bench – Justices Richard Malanjum, Hashim Mohd Yusoff and S. Augustine Paul – were baffled when told by Deputy Public Prosecutor Ishak Mohd Yusoff that Ahmad Hussin Zamir Hussin had two previous convictions for entering Malaysia without a valid permit.
