KANGAR: Security at the two border crossings in Perlis will be further tightened to flush out illegals, including workers who cross the border daily to work here.
An order had been issued to security agencies manning the checkpoints in Padang Besar and Wang Kelian to be vigilant, state immigration department director Mohd Zahari Hassan said. The tight security is to ensure that illegals do not hide in Thailand and return during a lull.
