SEPANG: The Agriculture Census 2005, the biggest since 1960 and expected to cost RM100mil, was launched yesterday to gather data that will help the government plan its strategy for this key growth sector.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, who spoke at the launching ceremony, said more than 8,700 supervisors and census workers would be involved in the nationwide exercise.
