KOTA KINABALU: Successive state administrations have done their part in protecting Sabahs biodiversity for nearly half-a-century starting with preserving areas surrounding Mount Kinabalu as a national park.
State Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Karim Bujang said a total of 3.5mil ha or nearly half of Sabahs land area was still under forest cover.
