5,000 Indon children in limbo

KOTA KINABALU: Some 5,000 Indonesian children born in Sabah are a source of concern for the country’s consulate here. 

“Our worry is for children left behind by their parents who have already returned to Indonesia. They would not know where to find their families if they were deported,” said Indonesian vice-consul Wahyu Riadi eight days before Malaysia launches a major crackdown against illegal immigrants.
