KOTA KINABALU: The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) headquarters in Putrajaya will send officers to Sabah to investigate a claim that a Malaysia Airlines aircraft aborted its landing at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport here on Monday because no one was manning the control tower at that time.

DCA director-general Datuk Kok Soo Chon said yesterday the investigation would cover all aspects of the incident involving the MH2638 Boeing 737 flight from Kuala Lumpur.
