KOTA KINABALU: An internal probe is on as to why no signal or directive came from the control tower of the international airport here on Monday morning allegedly forcing a Malaysia Airlines flight to abort its landing.
The Department of Civil Aviation had begun its investigations yesterday by reviewing control tower radio communication recordings following the aborted landing of MH 2638 on its first attempt.
