KUALA LUMPUR: Serene and quiet spots like Pulau Pangkor, Langkawi and those in Sabah and Sarawak will be promoted to draw newlywed couples to spend their honeymoon in Malaysia.
Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the ministry aimed to woo 2,000 couples from overseas to spend their honeymoon here under a special programme that starts in May.
