KUALA LUMPUR: It was a breeze to drive through the city’s main thoroughfares after thousands had made their way to their hometowns for the long break to mark the Year of the Rooster and the start of the Muslim Year of 1426.
The stream of people reportedly crossing the Penang Bridge ahead of the celebrations gave a general picture of the scene outside the suddenly quiet Klang Valley.
