JOHOR BARU: Police have launched Ops Bank to provide further surveillance at financial institutions following the arrest of a man who admitted to have plotted to rob such places before the Chinese New Year.
Johor Baru (South) OCPD Senior Asst Comm II Hashim Mohd Yusof said patrolling and police presence in critical areas like banks, moneychangers and jewellery shops would be beefed up.
