Police not involved in ops to round up illegals

KUALA LUMPUR: The police will not be involved in the current operation to round up illegals or keep them in lock-ups following the expiry of the amnesty period. 

This is because they were not called to attend any meeting on matters relating to the operation led by the Immigration Department, said Acting Inspector-General of Police Datuk Musa Hassan.
