KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Capital Bhd and two of its subsidiary companies have filed a RM1.43bil suit against the group’s founder Tan Sri Rashid Hussain and five other former office bearers for several alleged breaches and negligence.
The plaintiffs - RHB Capital, RHB Securities Sdn Bhd and RHB Equities Sdn Bhd - have named Chong Kin Leong and Seah Fook Chin (former directors of RHB Capital and RHB Equities), Tajul Ariffin Mohd Tahir (former executive director of RHB Securities and former director of RHB Equities), Ong Tiang Lock (former director of RHB Equities) and Rosley Ahmad (former principal legal adviser and former company secretary of RHB Capital) as Rashid’s co-defendants.
