Bottle gourd plant gaining popularity

PENANG: The hor lor pu (bottle gourd) plant may not be as popular as the lime tree for Chinese New Year here, but it is slowly making its presence felt.  

Florist Chun Siew Kee, 43, said hor lor pu plants were now being grown in Penang and popular among businessmen as the plants are believed to bring prosperity.
