KUALA LUMPUR: He may be 100 years old, but that did not stop K. Subramaniam from waiting patiently under the scorching sun for the chariot bearing the statue of Lord Muruga to arrive.
For more than an hour yesterday, the former railway station master waited by the road in Jalan Ipoh with a handkerchief on his head, for the chariot to pass by en route to Batu Caves for the Thaipusam celebrations.
