Former Yang di-Pertua Negri of Penang dies at 83

PENANG: Former Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Dr Hamdan Sheikh Tahir passed away due to heart failure at the LohGuanLye Specialists Centre here yesterday. He was 83. 

Dr Hamdan, who was hospitalised for 21 days, passed away at 2.40pm.
