KUCHING: Datuk Dr James Masing, who has taken over the supreme council chairmanship of Parti Rakyat Sarawak, is set to become its first president at the partys inaugural triennial general assembly here on Sunday.
The 700-odd delegates, who represent the partys 50 divisions, will be asked to endorse Dr Masing, who is the state Land Development Minister, as the party chief, according to a party official.
